About the Paint-N-Sip: Mandalas allow us to hold sacred truths, hold worries and energies that are pent up inside, while guiding us to seek clarity and stillness. No matter if you’re trying to create more clarity regarding a particular subject in your life, or just want to have laid back creative night. This workshop is for YOU! Absolutely no skill required, Kasmira will be guiding you step-by-step on how to create your own mandala and speaking briefly about her own artistic process. This laid back workshop gives you the opportunity to express yourself, meet new folks in your community, learn about mandalas, and support a local business & artist all in one short evening!
About the Artist: Kasmira has been focusing on cultivating her growth as a visual artist for the past 10 years. Her dedication to her artistic practice has centered around her educational background in psychology, influences of Buddhism, and worldly experiences. Her work reflects inner cerebral experiences revealing the geometric blueprint of her subconscious. Kasmira’s body of work reflects the unity of everything and connections to the divine and higher consciousness. The work reveals the interconnectedness of all forms of life, expressing that nothing in nature is sui generis but showing that the notion of consciousness arises from one. In the future, she wishes to return to school to obtain her master’s degree in transpersonal art therapy. She is currently residing in the Hudson Valley where she was born and raised. As well as working as a baker at a local bistro/bakery near Woodstock, New York.
